There are a couple of very reputable wine-tour companies in Franschhoek. Groups are small, and tours can be made to
your specifications.
The full day tour gives you the opportunity to venture out of the valley and explore wineries in Stellenbosch and
Paarl, and perhaps even further afield. The half-day tours have proven to be very popular with our guests. These
begin either at 09h30 or 14h00. If you start off in the morning, you will be taken to 3 or 4 wineries, and then have
the option to be dropped off somewhere for lunch.
Our favourite boutique wineries are: Stony Brook and Lynx Wines, and the other wineries with very positive feedback
include: Boekenhoutskloof, Graham Beck, Glenwood and Boschendal. The sparkling wines made at the Colmant Cap
Classique are also very popular. If it is entertainment you are after, you cannot miss the ‘Art of Sobrage’ at Haute Cabrière.
