DINING OUT

Franschhoek is the most visited place in the Cape after Cape Town itself and is arguably the prettiest village in South Africa. The valley enjoys the reputation as the culinary and wine capital of South Africa. An extremely high concentration of world-class restaurants, and world renowned, as well as small boutique wine estates are to be found in this little piece of heaven.

As most people descend on Franschhoek to enjoy the wonderful food and wine, we have given a brief overview of the restaurants. There is such a vast selection, so we hope this subjective guide helps.

We urge you to let us know as soon as you have made your decisions (especially in the peak season - October to Easter), as many of these restaurants (in particular the Tasting Room and Reuben’s) are reserved months in advance, and we would hate for you to miss out on your favourites!
